Community Liaison
The Community Liaison will work closely with RVA’s senior staff to conduct community outreach and engagement. This position will support the community engagement process for a variety of projects. Responsibilities include planning and staffing public meetings and town-halls (in-person and virtual), focus groups, working sessions, field canvassing, door-knocking, tabling at community events, and other activities as necessary to support robust community driven outreach and engagement; assisting with the development, production and preparation of materials such as event flyers, postcards, fact sheets, social media posts used during events, conferences and field canvassing; and carrying out various administrative tasks, including taking meeting notes, conducting data entry, placing orders with vendors, and maintaining project databases.
